Honeycombs 1

First post about grasshopper. I guess when you start working on these kind of tools, inevitably you have to pass through honeycombs or ribs or Voronois (as Dimitrie Stefanescu explains very well in his critical pamphlet) ...

Well this is probably the first one of a long serie of honeycombs!

Actually what we tried to do here, is to avoid the classical scheme of the hexagrid pattern. the reflection was based on the most profitable way of fabricating such an object. thinking about the economy of materials, and the fastest way of lazercutting and putting it together...
